Sometimes reassurance can be really simple
A few clear words can be more comforting than trying to decode someone’s behavior.
I think a lot of unnecessary anxiety comes from ambiguity. When I care about someone, I would rather know where I stand than invent explanations in my head.
Reassurance does not have to be constant or dramatic. It can be as simple as saying that you care, that you are still here, or that a difficult mood is not about the relationship.
I am also learning that asking for reassurance is better than quietly testing somebody.
Clear communication can be romantic because clarity creates room to relax.
