Thoughtful gestures do not have to be expensive
I remember the things that prove somebody was paying attention.
A thoughtful gift does not need to be dramatic. Sometimes the sweetest thing is something small that references a conversation you had weeks ago.
What matters to me is the little moment of recognition: you saw this, you remembered me, and you understood why I would like it.
I think that is why simple objects can end up carrying so much emotional weight. They become reminders of being known.
Thoughtfulness is less about the price and more about attention.
